Registration for the new course of training workshops of MaktabeTehran/Jalal Tehrani on going.
Intensive playwriting workshop:
A course of this one-semester workshop started on Wednesday, July 20. Registration for the new course of this workshop has also started. This workshop focuses on writing a long play by students.
Other Jalal Tehrani’s training workshops being registered are:
Theater directing theory online workshop. which is held in one semester.
Online acting theory workshop that is held in a 36-session period.
The online playwriting workshop, held over a six-semester long-term course, is now registering for the first semester.
The comprehensive set of acting training under the title "Fourth Course of Tehran School of Acting" is being reserved and pre-registered.
Also, in the past week, the registration of a new training workshop also started.One-session online workshop of cinema analysis. This workshop is supposed to be held once a month. The first round of this workshop is dedicated to the review of the works of French cinematographer Robert Bresson and will be held on August 16. The instructor of the cinema analysis workshop is Ali Javidan.
The exercises of the eleven groups of students that participate in the MaktabeTehran’s festival continue. The closing ceremony of this festival will be held in the Maktab’s hall with the participation of the students of the directing, acting, and drama writing courses in October this year. The selected works of the festival have the possibility of public performance in the Maktab’s hall.
The deadline for submitting plays to participate in the play reading section of the festival ended on July 29, after a one-week extension.Submitted texts are judged by selected students of drama writing workshops in recent years.
On Saturday, July 30th, the sixth screening of Jalal Tehrani recorded theaters was held at Maktab Tehran: "The Tank" recorded theater, which was performed in 2012 at Molavi Theater in Tehran This screening was the sixth and last screening of this period of Jalal Tehrani recorded theaters. The next course will start in the coming weeks and its information will be provided on the Maktab’'s website.
