Creative lighting

Creative lighting[1]

Single Cells is one of the few Iranian plays that, like the leading German theaters (such as Caspar and Clavigo), has made creative use of light.

Apart from the creative use of four projectors on the stage, the lighting of the faces of the two crime detectives and the lighting of the final scene have been completely aimed at inducing meaning.

There is very little stage decor and accessories. If we pass the chair that we only see for a few initial moments, the scaffolding on which the two explorers are sitting is the only decoration of the show; Instead, light has such a strong presence in the show that it can be considered part of the decor.

Although the actors of the show are mostly students and two of them have recently been added to the show, they offer a professional and multi-layered performance. Vahid Aghapour's strong expression, Ali Falahatpishe's silent acting, Seyyed Afshin Hashemi's positioning and sense, Mohammad Sadegh Maleki's stony face, Seyed Amir Kalori's measured silence, and most prominently, Majid Agha Karimi's acting and flexible face are among the characteristics of this show, which make it also excels in acting.
