Maktab Tehran; These days(1st week of july)

practical part of the theater directing workshop of Tehran School Festival was held. The 11th Tehran School Festival is coming and will be held in October.This festival is held with the presence of theater groups of school students. Eleven groups, directed by eleven students of Jalal Tehrani, are rehearsing their plays for the festival in the theater directing workshops of the school. The actors are also students of Jalal Tehrani's acting workshops at the school. This week, the second meeting was held where the groups present the results of their training. Jalal Tehrani reviewed the exercises and reminded the groups of some points. 

Registration for the new course of Tehran school workshops continues. These workshops are held in the fields of drama writing, theater directing and acting. Part of the courses are held online and the other part is face-to-face. Holding online workshops has caused students from Iranian cities and Iranians abroad to attend the classes.

For the summer season, a one-semester intensive online playwriting workshop was designed by Jalal Tehrani. This workshop is going through the last stages of registration and will start on Wednesday, July 20th. 

This week, unlike the last few weeks, we did not have a movie theater screening in the hall of Tehran school . In recent weeks, every Saturday, one of Jalal Tehrani's movie theaters is screened in the school hall.

The Reservoir Theater, directed by Jalal Tehrani, which is his newest theater, has reached the final stages of rehearsals and will soon be performedin the hall of Tehran school. As the public relations of Tehran school announced last month, these days the last stages of rehearsals of this theater are being done. The reservoir is one of the most famous plays by Jalal Tehrani. He has already performed this play twice in 2002 and 2012. Now, after a decade, he is doing this for the third time; This time with the students of his acting workshops in Tehran school.
